What was with those Blue & White Habs jersey’s last night? That’s just wrong and the hockey gods responded by allowing Montreal to lose to a tired looking Detroit team 3-2 in the shoot out. My favorite Hab Mike Cammallieri had two goals and tried hard to notch the Hat Trick. Carey Price gave up only one week goal on the night. The Wings outshot Montreal in their barn 34-18.
The surprise of the night, and I’m sure someone made some major loot with their Pro Line pick, was the Leafs beating Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals 2-1.
Daniel Alfredsson notched two goals leading the Ottawa Senators to a 5-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
