They definitely create safety hazards by their activities. Just think about the scores of animals that are killed and maimed by propellers on boats, waters which are poisoned and polluted resulting in many deaths, species which are completely wiped out by man's destruction of habitats...we could go on and on! How about giving some thought as to how we could live harmoniously with the beaver.
