The Ottawa Senators shut out the floundering Flyers 2-0 on goals from Nick Foligno and Jesse Winchester. Brian Elliot earned the shut out. Wow, is that Philadelphia team one huge mess or what?
Montreal was nipped by the Penguins 3-2 in regulation time. Habs goals were by Matt D’Agostini and Roman Hamrlik. Carey Price took the loss.
The Habs were out shot 41-21 in Montreal. That’s not good. Penalties did Montreal in including 3 in the 3rd period. Montreal spent way too much time on the PK instead of the PP.
