The Eastern Ontario AAA Wild Minor Midgets hockey team received an invitation to participate in the 2010 OHL Cup – March 17-21st @ the Hershey Center in Mississauga… an Invitation Only showcase tournament that includes the top 20 teams of OHL draft eligible players from Canada and the US.
Although their season came to an end 2 weeks ago losing to the Ottawa 67s in the semi-finals, they were granted one of the 5 Wild Card spots – tournament details attached.
The Wild had another excellent year, posting a 36-17-5 record which included an OT Championship victory over Latvia to win the prestigious Nike/Bauer Invitational in Chicago.
