100,000th Unique Visitor to the Cornwall Free News – Thank you to all who view our Newspaper! June 4th, 2010 – Cornwall Ontario!

Cornwall ON – I want to humbly thank each and every person that have helped us on this journey.   When we started this newspaper back in February 2009 we were told we didn’t have a chance, and even some of our own sponsors said they didn’t think we’d survive a year.

100,000 Unique Visitors!

Well we have thanks to all of you, our viewers, sponsors, and even those that don’t like us!   There are over 2000 people that viewed us at least once per day every single day in May and we want to give you even more reasons to keep coming back!

We have new radio shows rolling out on Seawayradio.com including our all local and regional music show and The Vagina Hour hosted by Marina Restinetti which premieres Tuesday June 8th at 7PM – new videos appearing on the Cornwall Free News, new contributors and of course in the fall; SeawayTV.com will be rolling out.

We couldn’t do any of it without your comments, criticism, and support.

Thank you on behalf of the entire Seawaymedia.ca team!

  1. The online newspaper that could and did succeed. Keep going.

  2. Congratulations Jamie. Much success in the future.

  3. First off CONGRATS Jamie, All of your hard work has begun to pay off. Second perhaps you can briefly explain exactly what a “Unique Vistor” is for some of us less savy 😉

  4. Hi Markus, unique visitors are defined by IP numbers. For example you may Cogeco internet, the best internet available in Cornwall Ontario in your home, but three people may be using it. Your IP address still only counts as one. So while we’re humbly celebrating your 100,000th Unique visitor; we’ve had a lot more people view The Cornwall Free News which is why we’re one of the fastest growing media companies in Eastern Ontario!

  5. Congrats, is it profitable though?

  6. Well profit is a relative kinda thing 🙂 There are many rewards to trying to make the world a better place.
