Cornwall ON – It was a crazy day and I want to thank Cornwall City Councilor and President of the Cornwall District and Area Labour Council Elaine MacDonald for the invite on the bus. I got to meet and interview some people like David Lundy, Regional Vice President for Region 4 of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and he shared on the day and what he was hoping for.
Mr. Lundy discussed some of the major issues facing workers in today’s environment in Ontario and the importance of people having good jobs with benefits, pensions, and a future, and the role that plays in a strong society.
