Warriors Wear Down Frenzy in 7-4 victory at Anowarako:wa Arena – January 23, 2011

Akwesasne Mohawk Territory – It was Ahmad Mahfouz day as the popular Warriors player led his team to a 7-4 victory over the Rome Frenzy.  His Goal and 3 helpers keyed the victory although he had no major scraps on the evening.

The Frenzy, playing with a shortened bench due to injury just couldn’t sustain against the faster and fresher Federal League Leading Warriors.

David Plouffe rode his team’s 7 goal performance for the Win with Akwesasne edging Rome 39-38 in shots.

Carter Trevisani, Dan Tessier, Martin Beaulne, Luc Mazerolle, Patrick Deraspe, and Daniel Sauve rounded out the scoring for the Warriors.

VIDEO UPDATES to arrive shortly.

  1. Great article, Nice to see the increased coverage of the team. I really hope it continues. Great pictures also.
I look forward to reading many more articles on the warriors. I think there should be an article on just how fun these games are even over on the island. And that coming home from the island is really no hassle and does not take long. And no passport is needed. I wish more people from Cornwall knew and understood what they are missing.
