Cornwall ON – The annual Child Haven International fundraising dinner and silent auction took place on Friday, April 1st in the Simon Fraser Ballroom at the Ramada Inn.
Child Haven founders Fred and Bonnie Cappuccino were present at the event, which attracted over 140 people and included a sumptuous Indian vegetarian meal, courtesy of the Ramada’s Chef Joginder.
The evening was a rousing success with many patrons snapping up the vast array of unique and beautiful items for sale and on auction.
As always, Fred and Bonnie presented a slide show which showcased their eight homes in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet.
Afterward, they were presented with a special award from Katie Burke of the Cornwall Sunrise Rotary Club in recognition of their work.
