Tent Collapse at Cabane a Sucre Cancels Activities in Cornwall Ontario – April 17, 2011

Cornwall ON – Winds, Sleet, and Hail couldn’t stop the spirit or cheer at the Cabane a Sucre festivities in Cornwall Ontario, but it did bring down the tent causing cancellation of the Pancake breakfast and some other activities.   Stay tuned Monday for a report by David Grégoire who attended the event.

Here is a short video clip of the damage caused by the high winds.  The poles buckled and the tent came down.  Fortunately, no one was injured and damage was minimal.

Les vents violents ont fait écrouler la tente au Festival Cabane à Sucre, forçant la cancellation du déjeuner aux crèpes et les autres activités prévues pour la journée de dimanche.  Heureusement, personne n’a été blessé et les dommages sont très minimes.
