Cornwall Square Car Theft Charges #CCPS Police Blotter 113018

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old youth of Orleans was arrested on November 29th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the youth failed to attend court on September 20th, 2018 for a threats charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 29th, 2018, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON – Aaron Collins, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on November 29th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to sign in to police on August 31st, 2018 and failed to attend court on October 25th, 2018. It is further alleged the man made threats to damage property belonging to a man known to him while in possession of a bat. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 29th, 2018, the man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.




THEFT UNDER $5000, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – Laurel Kubecki, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on November 29th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on November 29th, 2018, the woman removed a wallet and cell phone from a vehicle that was parked in the area of the Cornwall Square. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Shortly thereafter, police located the woman, at which time she was allegedly in possession of the stolen cell phone. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018.

  1. Sad story in the SF from her mother, but regardless no reason to do what she did, meds or no meds, many people deal with mental health. In fact, I have mental health issues and don’t do any of this. There’s professionals to help people deal with this.

  3. I agree with Pete Walbee. IMHO her mother with that plea is just trying to get sympathy from the public for her daughter. It’s sad that she had to do that story, trying to justify why her daughter did what she did.

From the Northway, a girl still dreaming, came late into class, floated down an isle between desks towards her own, in pyjama bottoms and satin kimono, absently spooning ice cream from a pint container, the boys on either side of her path, leaned back like a parting sea as she drifted by, their chatter stopped, they watched a pretty girl, a gentle girl, coming down from ecstacy, take her seat.
