Don Cherry Was Right About Ontario Born Hockey Players! OMHA Report – March 18, 2012

CFN – I’m sure Grapes will be happy with these numbers!  Beauty!

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) is proud to announce that there are more Ontario-born players competing in the NHL, AHL, NCAA and CHL this season who played in the OMHA than any other minor hockey organization. Research was conducted by evaluating current rosters of teams in the NHL, AHL, NCAA and CHL and cross-referencing their birthplace with their minor hockey playing career. Some players shared their minor hockey careers between the OMHA and either ALLIANCE Hockey, Greater Toronto Hockey League and/or Ottawa District Hockey Association. Those players are noted in the research.
