THEFT & PREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- Meagan Monique, 22 and Jerry Duheme, 20 both of Cornwall were arrested on May 11th, 2012. He was bound by two Probation Order with the condition to notify the Probation office of any change of address and Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that they attended a Brookdale Avenue store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. They were both charged with Theft under $5000.00. He was also charged with two counts of breach of Probation Order. They were released to appear in court on June 5th, 2012.

 

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 23-year-old Akwesasne male was arrested on May 12th, 2012. It is alleged that on May 12th, 2012 he attended his 22-year-old girlfriends residence when he got into an altercation with her and caused damage to her property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief and released to appear in court on May 29th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

 

ASSAULT CAUSED BODILY HARM

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 12th, 2012. It is alleged that on May 11th, 2012 she assaulted another 14-year-old female acquaintance and assaulted her. The victim suffered injuries and required medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with Assault caused Bodily Harm and released to an adult to appear in court on June 14th, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- Theresa Archambault, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on May 12th, 2012. She was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour, and not communicate with persons with a criminal record.  It is alleged that on May 12th, 2012, she was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be with someone with a criminal record. She was charged with two counts of Breach of Probation Order and released to appear in court on June 26th, 2012.

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested shortly before to 2:00 p.m. on May 13th, 2012. It is alleged that he was operating a motor vehicle on First Street East while under the influence of alcohol when he got into a collision. He was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over .80. He was released to appear in court on May 31st, 2012. His name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

 

CARE & CONTROL

 

            Cornwall, ON- Wayne Simoneau, 53 of Cornwall was arrested shortly before 7:00 p.m.on May 13th, 2012. It is alleged that he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division in a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Care and Control of a motor vehicle and Over .80. He was released to appear in court on May 24th, 2012.

 

BREAK & ENTER

Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred on the 12th of March, 2012 at a McConnell Avenue residence. It is alleged that the suspect(s) gained entry to a shed by kicking in the door and removed Freud joiner machine model JS100A. DOMESTIC INCIDENTS


(North Dundas) – On 11May12, at approximately 3:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 31, North Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 37yr old husband were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male threatening the female and damaging property in the residence.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Mischief Under $5,000


He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

(North Stormont) – On 11May12, at approximately 2:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident in Morewood, North Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 26yr old boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male assaulting the female.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Assault
  • Mischief Under $5,000


He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

(South Stormont) – On 13May12, at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 22yr old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Assault
  • Mischief Domestic
  • Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily harm


She was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

 

CHARGES LAID


(North Dundas) – As a result of a sexual assault investigation conducted by members of the SD&G OPP, assisted by the SD&G OPP Crime Unit, a 37yr old male resident of North Dundas was arrested on Saturday, 12May2012.

The 37yr old male resident of North Dundas faces charges of:

  • Sexual Assault
  • Sexual Interference with a person under 16 years of age
  • Sexual Exploitation
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching under 16years of age
  • Sexual Exploitation – invite
  • Fail to Comply – Undertaking before Officer in Charge


The above charges are in relation to incidents (historical) involving a young girl.

The male was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

 

IMPAIRED DRIVER


(North Dundas) – On 12May12, at approximately 11:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver on Queen St. Chesterville, On.

The 55yr old female driver (Leona COYNE of North Stormont) was located and arrested.

She faces a charge of:

  • Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol


She is scheduled to appear 05Jun12 in Morrisburg court.

 

BREACHED CONDITIONS


(South Glengarry) – On 11May12, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 17, South Glengarry Township.

A 17yr old male was found to be contravening his earlier release conditions; he was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Failure to Comply with Sentence or Disposition
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance


He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
