BREACH

 

            Cornwall, ON- Amanda MacMillan, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on June 21st, 2012. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol absolutely or being found anyplace where alcohol is sold save restaurants and to reside with surety and abide by the rules of that residence. One of these rules consisted of a curfew which had been set by the surety and clearly indicated to her as having to be in their residence by 11:00 p.m. It is alleged that on June 20th, 2012 she left the residence and returned passed her curfew and under the influence of alcohol. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and held in custody until court until later that day.

 

MISCHIEF & BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 18-year-old Cornwall male was arrested on June 21st, 2012. He was bound by two Youth Criminal Justice Act Probation Orders with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour, reside at a place approved by your Probation officer and abstain from the use of alcohol, obey curfew between the hours of 10pm to 6am, not to associate with a certain male and to notify court or Probation officer in advance of any change in address. It is alleged that on June 21st, 2012 at 3:30 a.m. he attended the certain males residence and an altercation occurred when he broke a window. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Mischief under $5000.00, 3 counts of Fail to comply and 4 counts of breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day.

WARRANTS

 

            Cornwall, ON- Derek Rowe, 36 of Ottawa was arrested on June 19th, 2012 under the strength of three outstanding warrants. It is alleged that three warrants exist for breach of Probation Order, Break & Enter and Fail to attend court. He was held in custody until court the following day.

 

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, ON- Richard Omar, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on June 19th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to not to associate, contact or hold any communication directly or indirectly with anyone with a criminal record or a youth court record or who used or deals in illegal drugs keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on June 19th, 2012 shortly before 3:00 p.m. he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the company of someone with a criminal record. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on July 24th, 2012.

BREAK & ENTER

 

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred on June 19th, 2012 at a Guy Street residence. It is alleged that the suspect(s) gained entry and removed a suitcase, Playstation 3, numerous games, gold chains and an undisclosed amount of money.
