(North Dundas) – SD&G OPP have identified the driver involved in the fatal collision that occurred yesterday on County Road 3, North Dundas Township.

The male driver of a 2003 Chevy Malibu was pronounced deceased at the scene, was identified as Roger BILLINGS 56yrs old of Kerrs Ridge Road, North Dundas Township.
SD&G OPP officers, assisted by Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue the investigation.

(South Stormont) – On 20Aug12, at approximately 10:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Collins Road, South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a male and his 32yr old common-law wife were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the female assaulting the male.

She was arrested and faces charges of:

– Assault
– Assault with A weapon
– Sexual Assault

She was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
CHARGES LAID IN THEFTS

(South Stormont) – On 20Aug12, at approximately 5:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft on Maxwell Drive, Ingleside, On.

The investigation revealed that two male teenagers had removed items from unlocked vehicles in the area. Further investigation revealed that one of the teenagers used a debit card that had been taken from one of the vehicles.

Two 14yr old teenagers, one residing in South Stormont and the other in South Dundas were arrested and face charges of:

– Theft Under
– Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
– Theft Under $5,000 from a Motor Vehicle

Both are scheduled to appear 20Sept12 in Cornwall court.
THEFT

(South Glengarry) – On 20Aug12, at approximately 10:00am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft on Boundary Road, South Glengarry township.

The investigation revealed that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) attended a construction site and removed a Cat 930 loader.

The investigation is ongoing.

THEFT & BREACH OF PROBATION

 

            Cornwall, Rene Lang, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on August 21st, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to change address with Probation. It is alleged that on August 21st, 2012 he attended a Second Street East store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. He was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. Further investigation revealed that he failed to change address with Probation. He was charged with Theft under $5000 and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on September 25th, 2012.

 

Cornwall, ON- Richard Saulnier, 33 and Gisele Dumon, 29 both of Cornwall were arrested on August 21st, 2012. They were both bound by a Probation order with the conditions of Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on August 21st, 2012 they attended a Second Street East store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. They were detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. They were charged with Theft under $5000 and Breach of Probation Order. They were released to appear in court on September 25th, 2012.

 

THEFT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Nonnie Benson-Markell. 35 of Cornwall was arrested on August 21st, 2012. It is alleged that on August 21st, 2012 she attended a Second Street East store and removed property without making any attempt in paying for the items. She was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. She was charged with Theft under $5000 and released to appear in court on September 25th, 2012.

 

BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- Mohsen Damghani, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on August 22nd, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is also bound by a second Undertaking with relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not consume alcohol. He was also bound by a Probation Order with relevant conditions of not to consume alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on August 21st, 2012 he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be in the company of someone with a Criminal Record. Upon arrested, he was under the influence of alcohol and resisted police. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation, 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Resist arrest. He was held in custody until court later that day.

 

Cornwall, ON- Jessyca Coleman, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on August 21st, 2012. She was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of a curfew, not to be away from your residence between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He was also bound by an Undertaking with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that shortly after 10:30 p.m. on August 21st, 2012 she was found away from her residence by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. She was charged accordingly and held in custody until court the following day.

BREACHES

 

Cornwall, ON- Christopher Dennison, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on the 22nd of August 2012. He was bound by the provisions of a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and for the first six months not operate a motor vehicle. It is alleged that on the 22nd of August he was observed by police to be operating a vehicle on Brookdale Ave. The male was subsequently charged with two counts of breach of probation and released to appear in court on the 18th of September 2012.

 

Cornwall, ON- Edgar Ethier, 63 of Cornwall was arrested on the 22nd of August 2012. He was bound by the provisions of a recognizance with the relevant conditions to reside at a certain address, notify police of any change of address and to not be away from his residence. It is alleged that in June 2012 the male moved and did not notify police of his new address. The male was subsequently charged with two counts of Breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.

 

 

BREAK AND ENTER

 

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on August 22nd 2012 at a Walton Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by removing a window air conditioner.
