WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Kyle Delorme, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on September 18th , 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that he was breaching his condition sentence order by being away from his residence when under full house arrest. He was held in custody until court later that day.

 

BREACHES & DRUGS

            Cornwall, ON- A 16-year-old Cornwall Youth was arrested on September 18th, 2012. The youth was bound by two Youth Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace & be of good behaviour. The youth was also bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions not to associate with anyone known to have a criminal record and/or youth court record and to keep the peace & be of good behaviour. It is alleged that the youth was located by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be in the company of other youths with criminal records and found in possession of a controlled substance believed to be marijuana. The youth was charged with Breach of Probation Order, Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The youth was held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.  

MISCHIEF

 

            Cornwall, ON- Joseph Redda, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on September 18th, 2012. It is alleged that on September 18th, 2012 he attended a 27-year-old’s acquaintance’s residence and caused damaged to his motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Mischief under $5000 and released to appear in court on October 9th, 2012.

 

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED

 

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently seeking the public’s assistance for anyone that would have witnessed the motor vehicle collision on September 16th, 2012 at Water Street and Pitt Street involving two motor vehicles. The Cornwall Community Police Service is requesting any information of the incident. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact Cst. THEFT & ASSAULT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Sunday Mitchell, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on September 17th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on September 17th, 2012 he attended a Pitt Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. As he attempted to flee the area, he assaulted the store’s owner. The victim did not require medical treatment. He was detained and police were contacted. Police attended and an investigation followed. He 2was charged with Theft under $5000, Assault and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court the following day.

(South Dundas) – On 17Sept12, at approximately 3:45pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft on Main St. Morrisburg On.

The investigation revealed that a 28yr old female (Christina LAFRANCE of Cornwall, On) attended a local business and was attempting to remove merchandise when she was observed by store employees.

She was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Theft Under SHOPLIFTING

She is scheduled to appear 06Nov12 in Morrisburg court.
MISCHIEF

(South Dundas) – On 17Sept12, at approximately 5:00pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of a mischief on Irish Headline Road, South Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a 17yr old male youth was damaging a residence.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Mischief Under $5,000
– Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court
