CFN – Alas Star Tek is no more in Cornwall Ontario. The call centre has been limping for quite awhile. It looks like their last big contract went to the new firm moving into Cornwall.
Over 500 people worked at the Vincent Massey facility in the past. The last 125+ employees will be job searching in a shrinking job market. (If any of you are looking we need some media sales reps!)
This is the second blow the Cornwall Ontario job market after Teleperformance shuttered recently.
