Cornwall Ontario Councilor Andre Rivette Appointed Vice Chair of Police Board POLL – February 7, 2013

rivetteCFN – Cornwall City Councilor was honoured to become the Vice Chair of the Police Board in Cornwall Ontario.    He serves under chair Pat Finucan who took over for Hospital poohbah Helene Periard who mysteriously resigned.

Councilor Rivette has been awfully busy since announcing that he was not going to run again for council at the end of his term.

He’s also one of the key people to save the Cornwall General Hospital facility from Ms Periard’s goal of selling it.

Do you think Councilor Rivette should retire from council providing that his health holds up?    You can post your comments below.

You can select more than one option in the poll.

Is it true that Helene Periard the so called poohbah @ CCH
finally did the right thing and resigned ?
If this is true perhaps Pat Finucan will step up and do the right thing
delay the Fire sale of the CGH & arrange to have an open public
meeting & answer questions directly from the public . Helene didn’t
wish to do that the question is Mr. Finucan do you Sir have the guts to do it ? It would be to your credit if you did .

A tad confused here / is or was Pat Finucan not on the CCH Board?
It seems clear that Andre is vice chair under Pat Finucan on Police
Board & that’s just fine & dandy . Surely Helene Periard wasn’t on
the Police Board please tell me it wasn’t so .
