Cornwall PoliceWARRANT & BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- Jason Seguin, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on March 8th, 2013 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and notify the Cornwall Police within 24 hours of change of address. It is alleged that on December 18th, 2012 he failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued. Upon his arrest, he was found in possession of a controlled substance believed to be marijuana. He also advised residing at a different residence and failed to notify police. He was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and Possession of Controlled Substance- marijuana. He was held in custody until court the following day.

Cornwall, ON- Charlotte Lajoie-Cooper, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2013 under the strength of outstanding warrant. She was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on January 29th, 2013 she failed to attend court and a warrant was issued. She was charged with Fail to Comply with Undertaking and released to appear in court on April 2nd, 2013.

 

Cornwall, ON- James Labelle, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2013 under the strength of outstanding warrants. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on January 8th, 2013 he failed to attend court as well as Failing to comply with his Undertaking. It is also alleged that on November 30th, 2012 he failed to attend for fingerprint and failed to comply with Undertaking. Warrants were issued for all the above. He was released to appear in court on April 2nd, 2013.

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION & OVER 80

 

            Cornwall, ON- Ryan Roderick, 22 of Cornwall was arrested shortly before 3:00 am on March 9th, 2013. It is alleged that he was operating a motor vehicle on Sydney Street while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Impaired Operation and was transported for further testing which resulted in an additional charge of Over 80. He was released to appear in court on March 14th, 2013.

 

BREAK & ENTER

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a Break & Enter that occurred on March 8th, 2013 at a Tollgate Road East rear residential shed. The suspect(s) gained entry and removed a large amount of tools which included a digital vernier caliper, Starrit 2 to 3 inch micrometer, 230 pieces Maximum socket set, 30 piece metric wrenches, S.A.E wrenches and stubby wrenches. Ontario Provincial Police News Portal [STORMONT DUNDAS and GLENGARRY] Impaired Driver/Breached Conditions 2013-03-11

(South Glengarry) – On 08Mar13, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.

The stop revealed that the 25yr old male driver (Sakeeran MAHESWARAN of Scarborough, On) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 28Mar13 in Cornwall court.
(North Dundas) – On 08Mar13, at approximately 5:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision at the junction of County road 38 and County Road 31, North Dundas Township.

The investigation revealed that a vehicle was stopped at the stop sign when it was struck from behind. The male driver left the scene before disclosing all his information to the driver that was struck. The vehicle was located on County Road 31 a short time later and the 58yr old male that was operating the vehicle at the time of the collision was identified as (Jeffrey KEAN of North Dundas) and arrested.

He faces charges of:

– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 26Mar13 in Cornwall court.
BREACHED CONDITIONS

(South Glengarry) – On 10Mar13, at approximately 6:30pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.

The stop revealed that the 23yr old male driver was breaching his earlier release conditions.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

– Fail to Comply – Undertaking before Officer in Charge x2

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
(South Glengarry) – On 09Mar13, at approximately 1:30am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to check a parked vehicle on County Road 20, South Glengarry Township. The check revealed that the 48yr old male passenger was breaching his earlier release conditions.

He was arrested and faces a charge of:

– Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
