CFN – In a bizarre twist the City of Cornwall has engaged the assistance of St.Lawrence College for its current round of Strategic planning.
Guess who’s the Chair of St. Lawrence College’s Board of Governors? None other than former Cornwall CAO Paul Fitzpatrick.
The same Paul Fitzpatrick that has the city in for over $2 million dollars of litigation, settlements, and assorted pay offs over his “relationship” with former Glen Stor Dun Lodge poobahette Donna Derouchie.
The same Paul Fitzpatrick tied up in the not one, but two Whistleblowing cases against the City of Cornwall.
And the same Paul Fitzpatrick who helped guide council into giving St. Lawrence College $100,000 per year or so in rent for its Auditorium which is now called Aultsville Theatre.
And they say that money can’t buy you love!
And now St. Lawrence College, under Mr. Fitzpatrick’s governance is guiding his “good friend” Mayor Bob Kilger and his council through a strategic planning process.
I just could not make this stuff up it’s so freaking weird!
Emails to current CAO Norm Levac about the cost of this planning session have not been responded to as of print time. We will update if he chooses to answer.

You would think that St. Lawrence College in Cornwall would have more common sense than that!! I’ve been out of work for months now, job searching everyday, no prospects in site and this bum walks in and gets a high profile job and top pay scale, just like that….no questions about his past behaviour or performance with regards to city council and his inappropriate antics? Who says crime dosent pay? And I firmly believe in this town, it’s who you know not what you know!! Or in his case, it’s who is willing to blow ya!! Sorry but I could not resist! Shame on the College, they better keep an eye on him!

What a black eye the college put on themselves. If you have a child going to St. Lawrence College in Cornwall keep them away from this dirt bag Fitzy, he has no morals and certainly no respect and just might want to make an offer like he did to Ms Donna D.
