Periods of snow changing to periods of drizzle in the morning. Risk of freezing rain early in the morning. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h late in the afternoon. High 10.

Freezing rain this evening, overnight and Thursday morning.

A surge of moisture is expected to move into Eastern Ontario this evening and overnight ahead of a developing low pressure system. With temperatures stay near or a couple of degrees below freezing, periods of freezing rain and freezing drizzle can be expected before temperatures rise to above freezing. Areas along the Ottawa River Valley will likely see the freezing precipitation persist into Thursday morning.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions as untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.
