  1. Hi Jamie, I find it appalling that in order to have a woman put recipes on your site, that she has to be half dressed. I’d like to know if she dresses like this when she is in her own kitchen making something to eat for herself and others. I would think not. So since she wouldn’t dress like this at home, what makes her think that we all want to see this. It just makes her look tacky and sleazy. Can she get some clothes on please.

  2. Tanya…I think that’s a “stock” or “library” picture. I don’t think Jamie intended to offend anyone.

Actually that photo is supplied by Ms Blasiak herself. Great shot too!

  4. So I guess if anyone has a problem with the picture they should address Kristin.

I can think a lot of answers to that…probably not what the person complaining might wish to hear though 🙂

  6. It’s a great picture! I stare at it for at least half an hour every morning! Reminds me of my fifth wife.

  7. Some people are just jealous!! Your recipes are DELICIOUS and healthy, no wonder you have a smoking hot body!! Thanks for posting Jamie!

  8. We eat a lot of garlic in our household since my husband is Lebanese. I have never been raised on garlic until we got married. Garlic is very good for the health. The woman in the picture reminds me of those at Hooters if that still exists. LOL LOL. That would please Jamie and the men. Furtz do you mean that you have five wives???? LOL LOL. ROLF! Gee you are a mighty busy fellow.

Garlic is our friend. 🙂 I made garlic pasta for my gf yesterday. Barilla PLUS pasta which is chick pea and lentil based so it’s high in protein and fiber. Olive Oil, lots of garlic, I added some frozen peas for colour and because I like frozen peas 🙂

Lots of grated parm. Perfect for a damp chilly day!

  10. Jamie that is wonderful. We just had sphaghetti a while ago and we are stuffed and with garlic added as well. You must be eating “hommos” – chick peas. We eat that as well. Your gf won’t leave the house with your cooking. We make that as well. Yesterday I found the brown lentils where my daughter works and usually they are orange and green but I found what my husband wants so I don’t have to go to the Mid Eastern Store this week. There are a couple of isles with foreign foods from some countries where my daughter works and of all the years that we were here this was the first time that I found it.

Jules Barilla Plus pasta is pasta made from chick pea and lentil flour.

  12. This is teaching young girls that it doesn’t matter how good you are at something, as long as you’re half dressed. The sexuality of women is over used as it is, in advertising and the media, do we really need it here? The content of the picture has no connection to the content of the article. It is obviously used to draw people in. A well written article with good content should be able to stand on it’s own.

  13. We had an excellent crop of garlic last year and this year is looking good too. A day without garlic is a day not worth living! Will have to look for that Barilla pasta. Is it easy to find?

Tanya I don’t think Ms Blasiak has to wear a burkha and she’s quite a good writer. Furtz, BP is available; but sometimes not in all varieties. It’s not much more; but considering how much more nutrition it packs it’s a great value.

  15. Poor Tanya sure seems to have an issue with human bodies. What a way to live, especially in the summer.
Thanks for the tip Jamie. Looking for gluten-free pasta for my sister who will be visiting next week.

  16. Jamie do you get that kind of spaghetti in a regular supermarket or do you get it in a specialty store? That is a very healthy type of spaghetti. We eat lentils here as well as chickpeas.

  17. Tanya I agree but if you have girls going to school expect that and a great deal worse. You will need leashes for them for what goes on. I sure wouldn’t want to start over again having children in schools these days. I see so many bhurkas around here in Ottawa that I ask myself what country am I living in. It is good to dress conservatively but that really goes way too far. LOL LOL.

  18. Barilla also make Gluten-Free pasta.
