THREATS, BREACH

            Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Long Sault man was arrested on May 13th, 2014 and charged with threats to life and breach of probation and undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of May 11th, 2014 the man threatened to harm his 42-year-old wife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 13th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the man was being held on OPP charges. He was advised of the additional charges and remained in custody for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

            Cornwall, ON – Steven Connor, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on May 13th, 2014 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged that the man attended a local bank on May 2nd, 2014 despite having been warned by police not to return. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 13th, 2014 the man was spotted walking on Montreal Road by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

            Cornwall, ON – Ernest Corbiere, 38 of Williamstown was arrested on May 13th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant for having failed to attend court. It is alleged that on May 12th, 2014 the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 13th, 2014 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

            Cornwall, ON – Meagan Locker, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on May 13th, 2013 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that the woman failed to attend court on May 6th, 2014 and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On May 13th, 2014 during a traffic stop in the area of First Street and Prince Arthur Street the woman was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.

PERSONATION, BREACH

            Cornwall, ON – Jamie Garlow, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2014 and charged with personation and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of May 14th, 2014 the man falsely identified himself to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on June 26th, 2014.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

            Cornwall, ON – Brian Colborne, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2014 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged that on April 28th, 2014 the man failed to attend police headquarters as required for prints and an investigation ensued. On May 14th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service spotted the man, took him into custody and charged him accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
