THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Carmel Roseler, 27 was arrested on August 8th, 2014 and charged with threats to life and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on August 7th, 2014 the woman threatened to choke a staff member of the Cornwall Community Hospital. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 8th, 2014 during their investigation police took the woman into custody, charged her accordingly and held her for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 8th, 2014 and charged with assault. It is alleged that on August 8th, 2014 during an argument with his 53-year-old common-law wife the man pushed her and struck her on her arm. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, SEXUAL ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 8th, 2014 and charged with assault and sexual assault. It is alleged that on August 1st, 2014 the man assaulted and sexually assaulted a 46-year-old woman known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 8th, 2014 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on September 9th, 2014. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON- A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 9th, 2014 and charged with threats, assault and breach of recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on August 9th, 2014 during an argument the man threatened to break the jaw of his 21-year-old girlfriend and spat in her face. Police were called and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Alexander Lemont, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on August 10th, 2014 and charged with breaching his recognizance for being out past curfew, having consumed alcohol, not residing at a specified address and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with breaching his probation order for failing to notify a change of address and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of August 10th, 2014 police attended a Victoria Street address in relation to a suspicious person call. On arrival police located the intoxicated male that was breaching his conditions and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly, transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Cornwall, ON – Andrew cook, 53 of Cornwall was arrested on August 11th, 2014 and charged with breaching his recognizance for having consumed alcohol. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of August 11th, 2014 during a traffic stop the man was found to be breaching his recognizance as he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 16th, 2014.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Ginette Compeau, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on August 10th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on September 12th, 2011 the woman failed to attend court for an assault with a weapon charged and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On August 10th, 2014 the woman was located at a St. Felix Street address and taken into custody. She was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, WEAPONS DANGEROUS, DANGEROUS DRIVING
Cornwall, ON – Michael Andre, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on August 10th, 2014 and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and dangerous driving. It is alleged that on August 10th, 2014 while at a parking lot on McConnell Avenue the man rammed a 39-year-old man’s car then struck the 39-year-old in the hand with a pipe. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH, RESIST ARREST
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 10th, 2014 and charged with breaching her recognizance for associating with someone she has conditions not to and resisting arrest. It is alleged that on August 10th, 2014 while in the Brookdale Mall parking lot a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service spotted the woman in breach of her conditions. A brief foot chase ensued and after a brief struggle the woman was taken into custody. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as her conditions stem from a domestic incident.

Cornwall, ON – Robert Parker, 49 of Alexandria was arrested on August 10th, 2014 and charged with threats to life. It is alleged that on August 8th, 2014 while in Cornwall the man made a gesture towards a 47-year-old Long Sault man that was known to him and threatened to kill him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 10th, 2014 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court September 16th, 2014.
