WARRANT

 

Cornwall, ON – James Seyeau, 39 of Cornwall was arrested on September 11th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that the man failed to attend court on August 21st, 2014 for a theft under $5000 charged and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 11th, 2014 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION

(South Dundas) – On September 10, 2014 at approximately 10:50pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on Lakeshore Drive in the Village of Morrisburg, South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated a 2005 Cadillac had travelled on Lakeshore Drive, went out of control and collided with a guardrail and a private dock. The vehicle then became submerged in the St-Lawrence River. Upon police arrival, the driver was not at the scene.

On September 11, 2014, a 21 year old male from South Dundas was identified as the driver of the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.

On September 9th, Brockville Police responded to a King St. address in regards to an unwanted person.

A 43 year old, local male was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace. The male, who was intoxicated, was released unconditionally when sober.

The 29 year old accused from the Kemptville area was communicating with his ex-female partner in contradiction to his release terms stemming from previous charges against same victim. Police are currently looking to locate the male to process the charges.

An Ottawa area woman, 43 years of age was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00. She was released with a future court date.

A 50 year old, local male, broke into his ex-girlfriends place and damaged property. The male was arrested and charged with break and enter and domestic mischief. He was held for bail.
