CFN – Denis Boisvert of the LNAH has confirmed that former Cornwall River Kings owner Robert Brock Frost has been fined from the league for the team missing its game in Laval this past Sunday.
The team has since been taken over from the league.
The good news is that it looks like new ownership should be announced shortly and that loyal River Kings fans will get to enjoy their team.
Mr. Boisvert would not confirm that the amount of the fine was $20,000. Mr. Frost was elected to City Council on a wave of support of local hockey fans.
