Robert Brock Frost Lost – Crown Declines to Support Cornwall City Councilor’s Claims Against CFN Editor – JAN 22, 2015

Brock Frost Council DEC 8 2014CORNWALL Ontario – It was a very brief hearing.   Cornwall City Councilor Brock Frost was nearly late and arrived in time to be served legal documents by Paralegal James Moak in the court room, and then see the Crown decline to support his wildly false allegations against CFN editor Jamie Gilcig.

Mr. Frost had previously issued a press release claiming that Mr. Gilcig had made sexual advances towards him at a sales meeting , (at which he still purchased advertising) after CFN exposed his odd Real Estate transactions in Nicaragua including his own Criminal attorney admitting that Mr. Frost could not return the funds.

Mr. Frost then issued two more press releases about Mr. Gilcig before making bizarre and unfounded claims against the editor.  That resulted in him attempting to get a restraining order which today the  crown refused to support leaving Mr. Frost the option to proceed at his own cost and with his own representation.  Mr. Moak as filed a request for full disclosure from Mr. Frost which Mr. Frost will have to provide at the next hearing on February 19th, 2015.

Mr. Gilcig stated that he would continue to defend this bizarre conjuring, and hold Mr. Frost accountable to every limit the law would allow.

Mr. Frost had no statement about new allegations regarding the bond/guaranty he issued when he purchased the Cornwall River Kings.   LNAH rep Denis Boisvert said that the league would not admit or deny the allegations.   Mr. Frost surrendered the team back to the league and was fined after not honoring their last game under his ownership.   The team has since started to win more games than they lose and rebuild their audience support.

Congratulations Jamie & yes Pastor Tom, prayers were answered, however, I kinda feel sorry for the choices that Brock Frost has been making, one right after the other. I truly believe that he needs help….possible mental maybe even substance abuse

Robert Brock Frost does not really enjoy a boost in the credibility department as a result of this decision. In fact it tends to add further fuel to fire speculation that Robert Brock Frost has a potential problem with the truth and that he possibly should not be representing anyone in this community and very likely should consider the more honourable route of tendering his resignation as a councilor for the city of Cornwall and then sliding into obscurity for the better good. So far his greatest achievement has been embarrassing himself publicly.

Hi David, Normally, under most circumstances I would agree with resignation. However, I’m very concerned about his replacement ? The citizens of our great little City, sort of cleaned house at the last election , I sure as hell don’t want one of the “ol boys” brought back through the back door ? Let’s have a full blown election, if this plays out, the way it appears to be going ! This would not be a short term replacement, but almost an entire term ? The electors have spoken quite loudly in October ???

Congrats Jamie.

With Brock Frost being so quiet lately I think someone, perhaps the mayor, a senior city councilor or his lawyer got to him and told him a) how to act as a city councilor and / or b) shut his trap unless he could prove his allegations. Either way it’s nice to know these legal doings may soon be winding down.

Really does any citzen in Cornwall really believe this Brock Frost at anything he says.Trying to drum up support by donating his salary to charities i believe he should give it to the man he swindled.Always easy to give away someone elses money.I guess charities don,t care where the money comes from.

I used to care more what others thought about me. Then I started thinking how freeing it would be if I could stop worrying about how I appeared and who knew what about me and whose feelings might get hurt. I haven’t arrived at that utlimate point yet, but I admire others who have. For some people, it’s become so routine, so normal to live a life that others are privy to that they’ve developed the rare capacity to live in a form of Realityville, not like actors in a play, but as people going about the business of living… Read more »

Wow!….As you get older you’ll find the less you care about what others think and think about you.

It’s true Hugger. The older I get, the less I care about what people think of me. But at the same time, I don’t want to be run off the road because of my political views.

I guess that it just takes longer to realize that other people,s opinions only define them & not ourselves
