CFN – Karl Dargan walked into the ring at Foxwoods Resort & Casino undefeated at 17-0 with 9 KO’s. He left with his first loss after Cornwall Ontario home boy Tony Luis finished his work for the night. Luis is now 19-2 with 7 KO’s.
Luis clearly outscored Dargan in what is considered an upset win for our Canadian boxing prodigy.
The Fight
Luis, though the smaller combatant won nearly all of the rounds with trouble only one or two. He kept moving and bring the fight to the formerly undefeated Dargan.
He embraces his dad and trainer Jorge after the fight.
Congrats Tony and keep making Cornwall proud!
