Former CCVS Student LANCE BURGESS Identified in Cat Abuse Case in Cornwall Ontario – FEB 3, 2015

OSPCA CAT Jan 20 2015CORNWALL Ontario – The Standard Freeholder has cited court documents identifying Lance Burgess of Cornwall Ontario as being charged with six counts in the case including wounding the animal, abandoning it, and failing to provide care.

The cat has survived and looks to have at least one of its nine lives left after being found in a dumpster.

Burgess did not respond to queries from CFN as of press time.

He’s back in court February 10th.

This scum bag’s court date is this week. Lets hope that the courts do the right thing and lock this scum up for a long time and maybe he will get a taste of his own medicine in jail. Lets hope!

Fortunately this did not involve a child where he likely would have received only a stiff 6 month suspended sentence. Laws on animals seem to be much more severe.
