THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 13th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 3rd, 2015 the youth took a cellular phone from another youth and police were called to investigate. During their investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON – Shawna Chartrand, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on May 14th, 2015 the woman attended a Second Street East store and selected a quantity of meat making no attempt to pay for the meat as she left the store. Police were contacted and located the woman a short distance away. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT, THREATS
Cornwall, ON –Ricky Shaver, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2015 and charged with assault and threats. It is alleged that during an argument on May 14th, 2015 with an 18-year-old man known to him the man grabbed him by the throat and threatened to harm him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Susieanne Lariviere, 58 of Cornwall was arrested on May 14th, 2015 and charged with assault with a weapon and threats. It is alleged that during an argument with a 43-year-old woman known to her the woman attempted to hit the woman with an object and threatened to harm her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 16th, 2015.
