Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred in the early morning of Saturday, June 13th on Narrows Locks Rd in Tay Valley Township that claimed the life of a Calgary man.
At approximately 5:20am Lanark County OPP responded to the collision on Narrows Locks Rd near Powers Rd. A black 2000 Audi S4 was located in the bush having entered the ditch and striking several trees. The passenger, a 24 year old man from Calgary originally from Elgin, On was seriously injured. The driver, Aaron James Machan, a 24 year old man from Calgary also originally from Elgin was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers from Lanark County OPP Detachment and Technical Collision Investigators continue to investigate and welcome any information that witnesses may be able to provide that might assist in the investigation.
