Cornwall River Kings Gear Up for Preseason With Two More Signings JULY 26, 2015 #LNAH

CORNWALL Ontario  – River Kings general manager Rick Lalonde has come to terms with two key forwards.

Veteran Pierre-Luc Faubert will return in 2015-16, as will Guillaume Parenteau, who was acquired late last season from Saint-Georges.

Faubert, 29, had nine goals and 17 assists (26 points) in 39 games for the River Kings last season. The native of Levis, QC, is an original River King.

Rkings july 26 2015Parenteau’s older brother is NHL veteran Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau. In 25 games last season split between Saint-Georges and Cornwall, Parenteau had 23 points in 25 games.

The 28-year-old from Longueuil, QC, is a graduate of the University of Moncton.

Meanwhile, the LNAH has released its pre-season schedule. Cornwall will play twice at the Civic Complex, with a pair of home games on Saturday nights.

River Kings training camp will be held Sept. 4-6 at the Civic Complex.

Saturday, Sept. 12: Sorel-Tracy at Cornwall, 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 18: Cornwall at Laval, 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 19: Laval at Cornwall, 7:30 p.m.
Friday Sept. 25: Cornwall at Trois-Rivieres, 8 p.m.
