Will Cornwall City Councilor Robert Brock Resign at Oct 26 Meeting? by Jamie Gilcig

Sources close to City Hall have stated that Brock Frost has informed Mayor Leslie O’Shaughnessy that he will be officially resigning as of the Monday council meeting after a vacation trip to Eastern Europe.   Frost had allegedly resigned previously but didn’t sign the final documents.

At an earlier meeting the mayor had stated that Frost was on  a medical leave, but Frost’s social  media account showed him doing daily selfies in bars across such hot spots as Estonia and Latvia.   On his facebook page he’s now apparently about to embark on another trip outside of the country.

Frost has been embattled in issues from fraudelent real estate deals in Nicauragua, the scandal that was his ownership of the Cornwall River King hockey team that nearly led to its demise, and several other lawsuits.

He currently is dealing with criminal charges for forged documents in Quebec stemming from his River King dealings.

Mr. Frost moved to Ottawa citing more business opportunities than in the city over 4,000  morons  citizens that voted for him in.

Frost, who didn’t live in the city itself owned several buildings.   The Municipal Act in Ontario has no recall clause leaving some frustrated councilors grumbling about the distraction his being on council had created.

Former Councilor Denis Carr is the lead candidate to replace him as 11th place finisher Guy St. Jean and his sugar daddy sailed off to Florida after St. Jean wasn’t elected.   He also shuttered down his vanity chatchka business, neovintage furniture which he established in South Stormont instead of Cornwall.

No comments from Frost or the Mayor have been made to CFN as of press time.

Will you miss Brock Frost dear CFN viewers?  You can post your comments below.

We can only hope Brock Frost resigns. Enough is enough. But ‘m not thrilled at the prospect of Denis Carr returning to the council table. That’ll put it at 6 from last council and four “new” councilors. Return to even more what the last council did?

LOL LOL. ROLF! One thing good about Frosty is that he is good for many good laughs and yes morons indeed just like the morons who voted in “SCRUDOMANIA” and how very true that is. Frosty is running from something and he knows that something big is coming down his way and I am not talking about selling real estate or anything like that but possibly spending time in the BIG HOUSE. This guy was the pinacle of laughter.

Resign why not?Thats what happens when people elect councillors that promise to give there salarys to charity. All though i admire anyone who gives there money to charity,What bugs me is just shut your mouth about the giving, and do it,don,t use it as an election platform to get elected.Brock Frost just learned theres absolutely nothing for him to gain wasting his time and ours on being a city councillor. Good Ridance Brock(fraud) Frost.

Brock Fraud bears an uncanny resemblance to Michael Scott of Dunder Mifflin, as far as keeping promises to donate to the Hospice and the Children’s Aid, and all the supposed bursaries and scholarships he suckered.

FYI….Brock Frost is again listed with Keller Williams Ottawa as a realtor.

The question that surfaces should Brock Frost resign would be, will it really make any difference? Did he contribute anything positive to the community that would be missed? I think not. Is he the only liar around the horseshoe? I think not. Will it change how council functions? I think not. We will still, at the end of the day, be saddled with the councilors from the past that were part of still unresolved or properly addressed issues.

At least it would be a start.

Hugger I am going to go and give it a look and see if Keller Williams has Frosty the Showman registered with them because the last time that I looked there was no Frosty the Showman. Keller Williams has to be mighty hard up to have Frosty on their team after what he did and is a fraudster. I am getting the word out about Frosty and roar with laughter with the people as well. I wouldn’t even as much as buy an out house from Frosty the Showman.

Hugger I just went on Brock Frost on Keller Williams and God Help Us All he is registered with them. I wouldn’t buy anything from Frosty the Showman whatsoever. I have been telling people about him and I get plenty of laughter.

Remember folks, Denis Carr is patiently waiting in the wings ! The electorate gave him & a few of his dinosaurs buddies the boot ! Now, with Frosty gone , we will be stuck with him again …… The future is looking bleak, for anything progressive from this bunch…..Not to forget our new mayor, that doesn’t remember his campaign promises ……

Honest to God folks Cornwall has a real mess of councellors that is so mighty laughable and pityful at the same time. What are we going to do without all the insanity for laughter that Frosty the Fraudster has created. I was wondering if he was going to resign and tell us all that he was moving to Eastern Europe for good. Who else gets himself in such trouble and gives us so many good laughs. No sane person does what Frosty does at all. Even yours truly your own wacky Jules is still not that bad even in her… Read more »

He has resigned, as of October 23, 2015.

Do you mean that Frosty the Showman really did resign? LOL LOL. Let us all see the official resignation to believe it as true. We heard that before and it was a lie coming from Frosty the Showman. Now we won’t have any laughs until we hear about his court cases. I wonder if Frosty will go out with a bang or be carried away in a stretcher again.

Yes, Jules he did resign. There are copies of his email to media outlets, as well as articles on it, on other Cornwall media. I won’t post the links here, as I know how Jaime feels about those links. Helen Finn, the city clerk, confirmed the resignation this morning.

Just saying what other media outlets are reporting.

Hugger this is great news. I hope that it sticks and that Frosty doesn’t come up with one of his lame brained excuses again. Now all Frosty has to do is leave Ottawa. There is hardly anything being sold here in Ottawa and even homes and apartments for rent are very slow at filling them. The economy is in a rut. Frosty has plenty of competition here in Ottawa unlike what he had in Cornwall. With Frosty’s background nobody would want to have anything to do with him.

Jules….I wouldn’t say that real estate sales are slow in Ottawa. I have a high school friend who owns a brokerage in Nepean and Kanata. He says sales have never been better. They are constantly hiring new agents.

Now that Brock Frost as resigned council can get down to some serious business….like getting the critical path of dates of communication between the city…and Transport Canada and any other party involved” in the construction of the tanks. All fine and dandy….as long as the administrators that prepare the report don’t resort to using white-out and black markers to obscure parts of the report that is seen by the councilors or public. It’s been done before by governments. Let’s hope we get some answers.

Good riddance Brock, you did nothing while you were a city councillor and you knew what the remuneration was and you actually believe it should be a full-time position. You have to do something in order to warrant a pay cheque. You must think you’re in the Senate. Shame we’re not getting anyone better coming on council. Heaven forbid if somebody else leaves or Glenn Grant will be on council also. And I’m truly disappointed with Leslie No Shaughnessy. He made it look so concerned for Diane Shay.

Lez sure has been a huge disappointment for everyone including myself and Frosty the Fraudster is not the first nor the last to screw up on everything that he touches. Even that Native fellow Brazeau from the Senators has done so many criminal things and got away with it all. There are no laws in Canada at all. The criminals are running wild in the country and getting away with it all. Lez’s campaign was run on lies nothing but lies. God help if Glen Grant came back – this would top the list of what is left to bury… Read more »

Hugger all I see around me are for sale signs and nobody buying them. A lot of owners are fed up and take the signs off the lot because it takes more than a year and more if they are lucky to find someone to buy their house. I see signs where people had them up for a year and more and no sale. Even on my street three houses were up for sale and one family took their sign off and two are still up for sale and nobody going to look at them. I see people renting single… Read more »

Uh, no JUles. I follow him on social media and his listings. The real estate market is doing very well. The slump could just be the area you’re in.

I was thinking about something lately that made me laugh. I thought about Frosty being related to Justin Bieber – both are to the rediculous and always in trouble and they seem to be made out of teflon where they get out of being in trouble and just keep on going and getting back in and out all the time. Sometimes I wonder about certain people and these two came to mind.
