BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Tyo, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on October 30th, 2015 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to report to Cornwall Community Police Service as directed. It is alleged the man failed to report as directed on October 26th, 2015 and an investigation ensued. On October 30th, 2015 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

Cornwall, ON – Sawatis Thurston, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on October 30th, 2015 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on October 22nd, 2015 and an investigation ensued. On October 30th, 2015 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

Cornwall, ON – Daniel George, 40 of Cornwall was arrested on October 30th, 2015 and charged with three counts of breach of undertaking for having consumed alcohol, being with someone who has a criminal record and failing to carry his release documents. It is alleged on October 30th, 2015 the man was found to be breaching his conditions while the port of entry and police were contacted to investigate. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

ASSAULT, THREATS, MISCHIEF, IMPAIRED AND OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 31st, 2015 and charged with assault, threats, mischief, impaired operation and over 80. It is alleged during an argument on October 30th, 2015 the man assaulted and threatened his 38-year-old wife and damaged her phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. In the early morning hours of October 31st, 2015 the man was located by police operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the area of Brookdale and Forteenth Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Andre Rose, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on October 31st, 2015 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 31st, 2015 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of First Street and Sydney Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 10th, 2015.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Shawn Hess, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on October 31st, 2015 and charged with breaching his recognizance for being outside his residence despite being on conditions and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 31st, 2015 police attended the man’s residence and found the man breaching his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 31st, 2015 and charged with assault and mischief. It is alleged on October 31st, 2015 the man slapped his 24-year-old girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation it was also learned that the man had previously damaged a wall at his girlfriend’s residence. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH, MISCHIEF, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Jarett Derochie, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on November 1st, 2015 and charged with breaching his recognizance for being out past curfew, possession of a controlled substance and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on November 1st, 2015 the man was found to be out past curfew during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and found to be in the possession of a quantity of cocaine. Once at police headquarters the man damaged police property and was subsequently charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Leblanc, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on October 29th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for being within 100 meters of a specific store, possessing alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 24th, 2015 the man entered a Second Street East store and removed a bottle of alcohol making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 29th, 2015 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 17th, 2015.

 

Cornwall, ON – Brandon Tessier, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on October 29th, 2015 and charged with two counts of theft under $5000 and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 29th, 2015 the man removed meat on two occasions from a Sydney Street store making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and located the man a short distance away. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

ASSAULT

 

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 29th, 2015 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument with his 30-year-old ex-girlfriend in early October the man pulled her hair, pushed her and grabbed her by the neck. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 29th, 2015 police attended a Second Street West address for an unrelated matter and located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Ontario Provincial Police News Portal [LEEDS COUNTY (Brockville)] ROBBERY – WESTPORT 2015-10-30

(LEEDS, ON.) –   Officers of the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation where a female suspect broke into a Westport residence and assaulted the homeowner.
On the 29th of October 2015 at about 10:35 PM Ontario Provincial Police officers were called to the Village of Westport after a female entered a residence, stole a small quantity of money, and became involved in a physical altercation with the homeowner. She left the scene on foot.
The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
Description: – Female   – Caucasian – 5’4 to 5’6 – Medium build  – 120 – 140 pounds – 25 to 28 years old         – Shoulder length black hair   – Black vinyl or leather coat – puffy – Blue jeans           – Cell phone with lime green case  – Clear speech                                     – Possible injury to forehead or top of head
Members of the OPP Canine, Emergency Response Team, and OPP Identification Unit attended for further investigation.

BREAK IN

(South Glengarry) – On October 29, 2015 at approximately 2:53pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded a report break-in at a residence on Chapel Road, South Glengarry Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime between October 27, 2015 October 29, 2015 culprit(s) forcibly entered the home and removed electronics, jewellery, cash and clothing.

An investigation continues.

BREACH OF CONDITIONS

(South Glengarry) – On October 29, 2015 at approximately 6:22pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers intercepted a pedestrian on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that a male pedestrian was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident. Also, the stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.

Matthew CADOCH (23) of Dollard Des Ormeaux, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Probation Order (2 counts)

– Possession of a Controlled Substance

The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on November 18, 2015.
