CARE AND CONTROL

Ricky Sayers, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on November 6th, 2015 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on November 6th, 2015 the man was found to be in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of the 100 block of Cumberland Street. He was taken into custody during an investigation, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

TRESPASS AT NIGHT, BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall ON – Denis Taillefer, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on November 7th, 2015 and charged with trespass at night and break and enter. It is alleged on November 7th, 2015 the man gained entry into a garage on Baldwin Avenue then fled the scene. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was located a short distance away, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Broome, 40 and Robert Longchamps, 21 both of Cornwall were arrested on November 7th, 2015. It is alleged in the early morning hours of November 7th, 2015 Longchamps and Broome removed property from parked vehicles in the area of Kirkman Court and were subsequently taken into custody by member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. Longchamps was also found to be breaching his undertaking for being outside his residence after having consumed alcohol. Both were charged with possession of property obtained by crime and Longchamps was also charged with breaching his conditions. Broome was released to appear in court on December 17th, 2015 while Longchamps was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 8th, 2015 on the strength of a warrant.  It is alleged the youth failed to attend court on October 22nd, 2015 for an absent from school charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On November 8th, 2015 the youth was located at her residence, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on November 8th, 2015 and charged with mischief. It is alleged on November 8th, 2015 the woman attended her ex-boyfriends residence and broke a window. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREAK AND ENTER, ROBBERY, POSSESSION OF BREAK IN TOOLS, DIGUISE WITH INTENT, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Marcel Delorme, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on November 9th, 2015 and charged with several charges in relation to a break and enter. It is alleged in the early morning hours of November 9th, 2015 the man gained entry into a Danis Street residence and threatened the occupant with a screwdriver all the while hiding his identity. Police were contacted and located the man a short distance away. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
