Wet & Warm Christmas Weather Prediction for Cornwall Ontario 16 on Dec 24, 2015

With predictions of over 16 degrees Celsius (60+ F) for the Cornwall Ontario region many holidays revelers are not feeling the Christmas cheer.     Many people we’ve been speaking too are taking advantage of the weather and travelling for the holidays.

While Cornwall had its first dusting of snow this weekend, it will be washed away before Tuesday leaving a gray mess.

  1. And the problem is?

  2. For purely selfish reasons, any winter without snow and cold is fine with me. The last few winters have truly sucked. I’m kicking myself for putting my motorcycle away on November first, but I’ll learn to live with that bad decision. I also like that our firewood supply might hold us over into next winter. Can’t beat that!

  3. I would like to see snow for Christmas and New Years and then afterwards it can all melt. I find this kind of weather mighty weird for this time of year. This weather will affect the economy of all sorts even agriculture that depends on the snow and cold since his is Canada. I have seen some green Christmas’s in past years and then we got hit with tons of snow and cold. The west coast and down east are having snow except us. I wonder what went wrong.

  4. Agreed Furtz. As we get older most of us could do without winter and / or snow and / or cold / difficult weather.
