Kingston Ontario Police Investigate Credit Union Robbery PHOTO KPS Jan 12, 2016

Kingston Police are investigating a robbery and searching for a lone male who threatened Kingston Community Credit Union staff that he had a firearm and fled with a quantity of cash.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m. on January 12 the suspect entered the credit union located at 18 Market Street and then fled on foot after taking the money. He is described as Caucasian, 5’10”, thin build, approximately 50 years of age, clean-shaven with gray hair. Witness reports have him wearing gloves, a long-sleeve blue sweatshirt, and dark blue pants. He was originally wearing a dark wig or fake hair. Kingston Police Canine Unit performed a track of the area but are still searching for the male suspect. Detectives are on scene and Forensic Identification officers are attending to collect any evidence.
