Mean Girls & Hate Group Member Charged in Cornwall Ontario – Police Blotter FEB 2 2016 #CCPS

HARASSMENT, THREATS

 

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Ogdensburg, NY man was arrested on January 29th, 2016 and charged with harassment and threats. It is alleged during the month of January, 2016 the man communicated with his 18-year-old ex-girlfriend by way of text messages despite having been warned by police not to communicate with her. It is also alleged the man threatened to harm her in one of the text messages and police were contacted to investigate. On January 29th, 2016 the man was taken into custody at the port of entry, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Adam Albers, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on January 29th, 2016 and charged with five counts of breach of probation for having consumed alcohol and failing to keep the peace and one count of breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged police attended the McConnell site hospital on January 29th, 2016 for a disturbance call and found the intoxicated man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

WARRANT, UNLAWFULLY IN A DWELLING, MISCHIEF

 

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 29th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant for a theft under charge and also charged with unlawfully in a dwelling and mischief. It is alleged on January 29th, 2016 police attended a Sydney Street residence and found the man had entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence without permission and damaged a door within the residence. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Patrick Delafontaine, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on January 30th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for not residing with his surety and for breaching curfew. It is alleged on January 30th, 2016 the man failed to return to his residence and police were contacted to investigate. On January 30th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on January 31st, 2016 and charged with assault, assault cause bodily harm, mischief and breach of a youth probation order for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in the early morning hours of January 31st, 2016 the woman attended her ex-boyfriend’s residence, damaged a window and struck her ex-boyfriend. She also pulled his mother to the ground causing her to seek medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON- A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on January 31st, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on January 31st, 2016 the woman slapped her 31-year-old boyfriend in the face and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Justin Pyper, 23 of Smith Falls was arrested on February 1st, 2016 on the strength of a warrant and also charged with assault, threats and breach of probation and undertaking. On February 1st, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the warrant when it was learned he was also wanted for an unrelated matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 1st, 2016 and charged with assault with weapon and assault cause bodily harm. It is alleged during an argument on February 1st, 2016 the woman threw a plate at her 21-year-old boyfriend causing the man to seek medical attention for a cut and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Burles, 31 of Lunenburg was arrested on February 1st, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for being in the presence of someone he has conditions not to associate with and for communicating with that person. It is alleged the man was found to be in the company of the person he has conditions not to associate with during a traffic stop on February 1st, 2016. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on February 1st, 2016 and charged with breaching his undertaking for being out past curfew, failing to abide by house rules and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 31st, 2016 the youth breached his curfew and police were contacted to investigate. On February 1st, 2016 the youth was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
