DRUG WARRANT – MALE ARRESTED
(HAWKESBURY, ON) – On February 24th, 2016, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) – Hawkesbury Crime Unit OPP assisted by the Clandestine Laboratory Investigative Response Team (CLIRT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) Search Warrant in the Town of Hawkesbury, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine tablets, cannabis marihuana and chemicals and equipment commonly utilized in the production of controlled substances.
The Hawkesbury Fire Department and Prescott-Russell Paramedic also assisted as a preventative measure.
Jeffrey OUIMET (36 yrs) of Hawkesbury was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following:
– 7.1(1) Possession of anything for use in, production of/trafficking in, Schedule 1 or Schedule III substance
– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams
He was not released and kept for a bail hearing at L’Orignal court. The accused was released on February 26th 2016 on a Recognizance of Bail pending his next court date scheduled on March 30th 2016 at L’Orignal court.
