MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 29th, 2016 and charged with mischief. It is alleged on during an argument on February 29th, 2016 with his girlfriend the man punched his girlfriend’s wall causing the wall to be damaged. The man’s actions were witnessed by police who had attended for a disturbance. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for bail. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Thomas Bodin, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on March 1st, 2016 and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and threats. It is alleged on February 26th, 2016 the man threw a 22-year-old man known to him to the ground and threatened him with a knife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 1st, 20916 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, ASSAULT, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 1st, 2016 and charged with criminal harassment, assault and mischief. It is alleged during February, 2016 the man communicated with his ex-girlfriend despite having been warned by police not to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation police learned of previous incidents where the man pushed his girlfriend and damaged some of her property. On March 1st, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
MISCHIEF, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE
Cornwall, ON – Brandon Compeau, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on March 1st, 2016 and charged with mischief and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged on February 14th, 2016 the man slashed a 33-year-old man’s tire with a knife and police were contacted to investigate. On March 1st, 2016 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 5th, 2016.
