ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Albert Boisclair, 47, Matthew Martin, 18 and a 17-year-old youth all of Cornwall were arrested on March 6th, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on March 1st, 2016 the three actively participated the in assault of a 31-year-old man who was punched and kicked. Police were contacted, attended the scene and began an investigation. On March 6th, 2016 all three individuals attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. They were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The youth’s name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 7th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance X8 for failing to attend school. It is alleged during the 2015-2016 school year the youth failed to attend school without permission and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 7th, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on March 7th, 2016 the woman punched her 54-year-old ex-boyfriend in the face and police were contacted to investigate. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2016. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
