79 Year Old JAILED for Communicating With Ex Wife at Bank in Cornwall Ontario POLICE BLOTTER March 10, 2016

ASSAULT, THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 9th, 2016 and charged with assault, threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during a school function the youth pulled the hair of a teacher’s assistant then threatened to punch a counsellor. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 79-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 9th, 2016 and charged with breach of undertaking for having communicated with his ex-wife despite being on conditions not to communicate with her and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was in the company of his ex-wife at a local bank on March 9th, 2016 despite being on conditions not to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Delaina Mallory, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on March 9th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Second Street West and Saunders Drive when it went off the road. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 22nd, 2016.
