CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

            Cornwall, ON – A 33-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 14th, 2016 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged on March 14th, 2016 the woman communicated with her ex-common-law husband despite having been previously warned by police not to. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 19th, 2016. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 15th, 2016 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged during the month of March, 2016 the woman communicated with her ex-partner despite having been warned by police not to communicate with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 15th, 2016 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND

Cornwall, ON – Lisa Sauve, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on March 15th, 2016 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the woman failed to attend for prints on March 3rd, 2016 and investigation ensued. On March 15th, 2016 the woman was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Lalonde, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on March 15th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the month of March, 2016 the man breached his curfew and police were contacted to investigate. On March 15th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

SD&G OPP

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(North Glengarry) – On March 14, 2016 at approximately 5:04 pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had repeated contact with his ex-girlfriend.

The 47-year-old male from Coteau Du Lac, Quebec was arrested and is charged with;

– Criminal Harassment

He was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Cornwall on March 22, 2016.

The names of the accused persons in the above incidents are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.

(North Dundas) – On March 14, 2016 at approximately 7:48 pm, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation between an adult male and his common law spouse resulted in the male assaulting the female.

The 50-year-old male from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Assault

He was released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Cornwall on April 5, 2016.

The names of the accused persons in the above incidents are being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victims.

THEFT OF CAMPER

(South Dundas) – On March 14, 2016 at approximately 4:19pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a Camper Trailer from a property on County Road 2, South Dundas Township.  Investigation indicated that sometime between (March 8-14, 2016) Culprit(s) removed a 2014 JAYCO JAY FEATHER 17Z White Camper with plate L7999T(Ontario) from the property.
