LUC Champagne of Orleans Sentenced to 19 Months After Calypso Sex Assault of Minor JUNE 28, 2016

Luc Champagne, who was charged back in August, has been sentenced to 19 months in jail after pleading guilty to sexual assault, voyeurism possession of drugs, harassment, and sexual interference with a person under 16.

He was sentenced in the L’Orignal courthouse near Ottawa Ontario.

OPP ARREST MAN FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT

(The NATION TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 6, 2015, at approximately 4:15pm, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Russell County detachment arrested a man in relation to a complaint of a sexual assault at the Calypso Theme Water Park, The Nation Township, ON.

As a result, 30-year-old Luc CHAMPAGNE of Orleans is charged with:

•             Sexual Assault
•             Voyeurism
•             Possession of Schedule 2 Substance – marihuana
•             Criminal Harassment
•             Sexual Interference with a person under 16 years of age

He was remanded into custody in the Ontario Court of Justice, L’Orignal, ON to appear by video remand on August 11, 2015.
