Beer Bottle Assault & Punching Holes in Walls in Cornwall Ontario JULY 1, 2016

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON AND BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Carlo Pettinicchio, age 41, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 30, 2016. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on June 25, 2016, he attended an Alice Street residence and threatened the occupant with a beer bottle. He left the area prior to police arrival. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. Mr. Pettinicchio turned himself in at the police station. He was charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on July 28, 2016.

BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF AND BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kahiio Oakes, age 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 30, 2016. He is bound by a Bail Order with the relevant conditions to reside at a particular residence, to not change his address without prior authorization from court or the Crown, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on June 22, 2015, he made a hole in his apartment wall and gained access into his landlord’s office. It is further alleged that on June 24, 2016, he made another hole is his apartment wall large enough to see into the apartment beside him. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. Mr. Oakes was subsequently charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Under $5000, and 4 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was held for a Bail Hearing.

BREACH PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – Sherry Hummell, age 33, of Cornwall was arrested on June 30, 2016. She is bound by 2 Probation Orders with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not contact 9-1-1 unless there is a true emergency. It is alleged that on this date she contacted 9-1-1 under non-urgent circumstances. She was taken into custody and charged with 3 counts of breach of Probation. She was held for a Bail Hearing.

DOMESTIC BREACH PROBATION

Cornwall, ON – A 47 year old Cornwall male, was arrested on June 30, 2016. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to not be within 200 metres of a particular individual or their residence. On this date he was located by police in the driveway of the individual that he is not to be within 200 metres of. He was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
