  1. The “domestic” story here should serve to affirm that the LGBTQWERTY community is just like any other, and that prejudice and bigotry against it is based solely on ignorance; our ROYGBIV neighbours are no worse and, alas, no better.

If anyone has an issue it should be with the police for identifying those charged in this manner.

  3. This is called clickbait. There is no need to use “Lesbian hair pulling” in the title. Are you going to label all future titles with “heterosexual couple does X”? The police report from their website only use the word “her”, not lesbian.

Man I wish this site would go down for good.

  4. Did the police identify those charged as lesbian? Not from what I read.

  5. It seems to me that this news outlet wrote the headline, not the police. What has the couple’s sexual orientation to do with this assault? How is it relevant to the story? And if it is relevant, why haven’t you identified their race as well? Have you noticed that it’s 2016?

Mario you are correct. It’s my job to make you click on our headline. I will continue to do my job. Thank you for reading and participating in our viewer community. Welcome to CFN where all are welcome regardless of their skin colour, race, sexual identity, religion, shoe size, and I’m sure a bucket more measures.

    Cheers,

    Jamie

  7. Of more interest would be an accused’s level of health, education, income, family status, system of beliefs or lack of… stuff like that. Then maybe we could make sense of the sh*t that goes down (along with the sun) in this fair city.

And it would highlight the double standard that sees the fools here virtually arrested, tried and convicted in one news story, while city hall scum ‘n chums walk.
