Ottawa Police Put Down Two Dogs After Attack in Orleans Area AUG 16, 2016

Injuries in Dog Attacks

 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service responded to a call for service involving dog attacks.

Several people, including a child, are reported to have been injured this morning by two large dogs. Both animals were loose in the Orleans area bordered by 10th Line Road, Tompkins Avenue, Des Épinettes Avenue, and Duford Road when the attacks occurred this morning at about 11:15 AM. Some of the injuries are reported to be serious.

Patrol officers were called to the scene and were able to locate and put down both of the large animals.
