Sandwich Throwing Lands Cornwall Man in Jail – SEPT 12, 2016

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Berube, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on September 9th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for being in the company of someone that has a criminal record. It is alleged on September 9th, 2016 the man was found to be in breach of his conditions during a traffic stop as two of his passengers had a criminal record. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

FRAUD, OBTAIN CREDIT BY FALSE PRETENCES, UTTER FORGED DOCUMENT, BREACH, POSSESS IDENTITY DOCUMENTS

 

Cornwall, ON – JoJoe Kgya-Agyenman, 23 of Milton, ON was arrested on September 9th, 2016 and charged with fraud, obtain credit by false pretence, utter forged documents, breach of recognizance and probation for having in his possession a card with security chip or information strip. It is alleged on September 9th, 2016 the man attempted to activate a fraudulently acquired credit card at a local bank and police were contacted to investigate. Police located the man at the bank and found that he was in possession of false identification. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for bail hearing.  

 

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

 

Cornwall, ON – A 43-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 9th, 2016 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged during an argument on September 9th, 2016 the man threw a sandwich at his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

 

BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Anson Jacco, 51 of Cornwall was arrested on September 10th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for being outside his residence and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on September 10th, 2016 the man was spotted breaching his conditions in the area of Louisa Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

 

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, WEAPONS DANGEROUS, THREATS

 

Cornwall, ON – Joshua Lauzon-McAlear, 18 of Cornwall was arrested on September 10th, 2016 and charged with assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and threats. It is alleged during an argument on September 10th, 2016 the man threatened two men with a knife and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
