Shooting in Centretown
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred on the 21st of October, 2016. Multiple 911 and emergency calls were received reporting shots being fired within the 1000 block of Somerset Street West at approximately 1:53 am. There were no injuries reported. There are no suspects in custody.
There is no information linking this shooting and the one that occurred on Prince Albert Street late Thursday evening.
The Central District Investigations Section will be taking carriage of the investigation.
