BREAK AND ENTER, POSSESSION OF BREAK IN TOOLS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Bryan Devarennes, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on October 24th, 2016 and charged with break and enter, possession of break in tools, breach of recognizance for being outside his residence and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 24th, 2016 the man forced his way into an apartment building at which point he was confronted and police were contacted. The man was later located by police, taken into custody and found to be in possession of break in tools. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH, POSSESION OF A CONTROLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Berube, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on October 24th, 2016 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained by crime. He was also charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew, being in possession of a weapon, being in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. It is alleged on October 24th, 2016 the man was found to be in breach of his curfew during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a knife, a quantity of pills believed to be speed, cash and drug paraphernalia. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Monkland woman was arrested on October 25th, 2016 and charged with breach of probation for communicating with her ex-common-law husband and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on October 24th, 2016 the woman called her ex-common-law husband and police were contacted to investigate. On October 25th, 2016 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken in to custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING
Cornwall, ON – Giovanni Roussel, 24 of Avonmore was arrested on October 25th, 2016 and charged with possession of cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of hydromorphone. It is alleged during a traffic stop on October 25th, 2016 the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine and hydromorphone. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 6th, 2016.
