FLIGHT FROM POLICE

(South Dundas) – On November 14, 2016 at approximately 2:28pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer attempted to intercept a vehicle on County Road 16, South Dundas Township. The driver refused to comply and was successfully stopped a short distance away when he entered a property on Cook Road. He resisted officers upon his arrest.

Russell SULLIVAN (48) of South Dundas Township is charged with;

– Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer
– Resist Peace Officer
– Driving While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)

He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
CAUSE DISTURBANCE

(North Glengarry) – On November 14, 2016 at approximately 3:56pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a property on Main Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male party was under the influence of alcohol and disturbing tenants.

Roch RICHER (54) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Causing a Disturbance
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on December 7, 2016.
